Terms

Last updated 2 October 2026

These are the rules for using Thirdside Works, run by Thirdside Works. Using the service means you accept them. They're short — here's where you stand.

What this is

You pick a model, put your name or message on it, and download files you print yourself. That is the whole service: it sells files, not printed objects, and nothing is delivered.

If you'd rather have it printed, that's a separate service of the Thirdside Works shop, with its own order and its own terms — see the shop.

Credits

  • A new account gets 5 credits free. They don't expire. An email address that has had an account here and deleted it doesn't get them again.
  • Opening the editor and trying things costs nothing.
  • Downloading a personalisation costs 1 credit the first time. A personalisation is what you type — the name, the message, the QR code. Type something different and it's a new personalisation.
  • Changing the size, font, colour or thickness and downloading again is free. Downloading the same personalisation again is free, forever.

The pass

  • A pass costs ₱499 for 30 days and gives you 50 credits and a commercial licence.
  • You pay once. It doesn't renew by itself, so there's nothing to cancel — it simply ends.
  • You can renew while it runs. The new 30 days are added to the end of the current pass.
  • There are no refunds.
  • Credits from a pass expire when the pass ends, and they are used before your other credits. Your free signup credits never expire.

Your licence

Every download records the licence it was bought under, and the LICENCE.txt inside the download says which.

  • Personal licence — what you get without a pass. Print it for yourself or as a gift. Selling the prints is not allowed.
  • Commercial licence — what you get while a pass is running. Print it and sell the prints. The design file itself may not be resold or shared.

Under either licence, the design file itself may not be resold or shared.

The licence is fixed the first time you pay for a personalisation. Downloading it again keeps that licence, and a pass starting or ending later doesn't change it.

Printing

The files are made to be printed, but we can't promise a good print on every printer or with every material. Check the size and your printer's settings before you print.

Fair use

We can close an account used for abuse or fraud, or to get around the credit system — making extra accounts to collect free credits, for example. Closing an account deletes its designs and files, just as deleting it yourself does, and keeps its credit history. The privacy page says exactly what that means.

The law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.

Changes

These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top changes too, and using the service after that means you accept the new version.
